Be a Helper

We've all been thinking and praying about our neighbors in the Philippines. Times like these are opportunities to get outside of ourselves and help others. The news can feel overwhelming, disheartening and even discouraging, so we might be tempted to block it all out, thinking that it's too big for one person to make a difference. Don't be fooled: you are very much needed. Think of ways you can help today, a good thought, a prayer, even just a $10 donation to the Red Cross. Look for the helpers and find a way to be a helper yourself.
